replaced thermostat in 2009 Pontiac g6 3.5l, cannot get antifreeze to circulate, car engine heats up, no heat in car heater, airlocked?
JA: Have you checked to make sure the thermostat is working? What about the coolant level?
Customer: filled expansion tank to level but will not go down
JA: Are you fixing your G6 yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: yes, fixing myself, replaced thermostat, put coolant in tank and started car.
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: I have been bleeding air using the nut on the expansion tank line

Hi im kevin yes this will be an airlock you need to startcat with rad cap off and heaterturned on full at full heat .run until heater starts to warn then fit cap unless it start to overflow or get too hot
