Customer Question

I need an expert!
JA: What is the model/year of your Pontiac?
Customer: 2002 grand am gt1 3.4l
JA: Are you fixing your Grand Am yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: yes, I am a mechanic. It's my car. I'm not an electrician and I think this is a major wiring issue I am trying to deal with
JA: Have you checked all the fuses? Do you have a wiring diagram?
Customer: lets start at the beginning. I do not have power getting to my ignition control module. I have checked every fuse, under the hood, in both ends of the panels of my dash board
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: I have do extensive work to this car. I do know that my crank but no start condition isn't related to the passlock system in my car, I have a large red wire with a black strip going to the ignition switch. It looks like it has kind of melted; gotten very very hot.
