MY FRONT PASSENGER BALL JOIN ROD BROKE . I GOT THE OUTSIDE GALL JOINT OFF. BUT I NEED INSTRUCTION ON HOW TO GO ABOUT GETTING THE TOP PART LOOSE. AND HOW TO GET THE EXISTING BOOT OFF.
JA: What is the model/year of your Pontiac?
Customer: 1997 PONTIAC GRAND PRIX GTP WITH THE SUPER CHARGER.
JA: Are you fixing your Grand Prix yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I AM FIXING IT MY SELF AND HAVE MISSPLAEDX MY CHILTON REPAIR GUIDE. LIKE I SAID I GOT THE PART THAT connects to the out side mount loose and off because the rod is busted completely into . I just need help fi9guring out how to get the rest of the old ball joint disconnected so I can replace the hole tie rod assembly .there is not enough room to really see the upper portion so I can determine what to do next.
