I disconnected the pass. side airbag on my 2002 Pontiac

Customer Question

I disconnected the pass. side airbag on my 2002 Pontiac Grand Am to replace heater core, now the airbag light is on. Is there a way I can reset the airbag light myself.

Recheck the connector and make sure it is connected properly. Try disconnecting the battery for a few minutes. The light should go out if everything is connected properly.

That didn't work, any more suggestion.

The light should have gone out if the connector was properly connected. Since it hasn't gone out you will need to get the Airbag system checked for codes to see what the code is, to see where the problem is.
