I don't think, I have a alero that is leaking coolant around

Customer Question

I don't think this is me, I have a alero that is leaking coolant around the transmission pan.
JA: How old are the hoses? And have you tested the actual mix of your coolant?
Customer: have not tested the mix, but I know its coolant. the over flow tank drained and refilled it and it drained some more. hoses might be original, but I can't see any hoses leaking.
JA: What year is your Alero?
Customer: 2001 2.4l
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: check the water pump, hoses, etc. hoping to fix if its possible. did the brakes recently, knock sensor, general repairs.
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: cant find fluid coming from anywhere other than the transmission pan ,, several drop even with the engine off, more when running.

hello, is someone answering my question

it sounds like your transmission cooler is broken and allowing antifreeze into the system if that is the case then the radiator is going to need replacement if you are lucky you can flush the contaminants out of the transmission but usually if this happens yit will destroy the internals of the transmission.
