Customer Question

I have a 2004 pontiac sunfire. The erls fuse is blowing when I begin driving, but it won't blow until then. I also keep getting trouble codes P0753, P0758, P1860. It also will not shift from 2nd gear while driving at all.
JA: Have you had any recent electrical work done on the car? Have you checked the circuit?
Customer: Nothing new has been done. But I have been checking for shorts, I just don't know where all to check for sure or how exactly to check
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: If I can fix it myself that would be awesome rather than paying someone to do it for me, but that will depend on the difficulty of the job. The A/C isn't working when the fuse blows, so I'm guessing it's also on that circuit, so I need to try unhooking the A/C to make sure there isn't a short in those wires
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: The fuse blows as soon as I back half way out of the driveway and only then.
JA: OK. Got it. I'm sending you to a secure page on JustAnswer so you can place the $5 fully-refundable deposit now. While you're filling out that form, I'll tell the Pontiac Mechanic about your situation and then connect you two.
