Hello, how did you determine TDC? what are you trying to do? and have done? thanks

Where does the distributor rotor point to on TDC ON NUMBER 1 on an opti spark system
Expert:  tracer6 replied 4 months ago.

when yopu set the distributor? it will fall into palce and rotor will turn as it is going in, You may have to do a couple times but the objective? it needs to wind up pointing to #1 plug wire, Does not matter which spot you put the wires but as long as the rotor is pointing close to number 1 then you can start and set timing, Firing order is CLOCKWISE and is 18436572 so if on compression stroke at number ! cylinder. drop distributor in til near pointing to #1 plug wire , Then set timing
