My 2003 Pontiac sunroof got caught with the sliding shade.

Hi, my 2003 Pontiac sunroof got caught with the sliding shade. Now the sunroof window is crooked and will not close. how do I sync the window mounts one is further back the other. I have taken the window off

I have noticed that your question was not getting a response and thought I would see if you still need help with this.I apologize for the delay and I hope I can still assist you with this here.You may be able to remove the window motor and then realign the tracks but in order to be able to send you the steps I need to know what your working in. The year and model of your Pontiac please. Post back when you can with this information and Ill have a look at the diagrams for you and post back with my findings.

I would try removing the motor and that should allow you to move the sun roof, see if you can get it closed evenly on both side and then reinstall the motor and see if it stays aligned. See the motor removal steps in the link below. Copy and paste the link to your browser to open and view them.
