Hello, my name is***** for the question. Start by making sure that the shifter is all of the way in park. Even try starting it in neutral. If that does not help then it may be a failure in the ignition switch. If you have a voltage meter I can run you though some tests.

Then there is no power getting into the system. If the battery is completely dead or shorted internally then this can happen. If the battery is fine then it is he ignition switch or a fault in the fuse box. Possibly a bad starter. If you have a voltage meter I can run you through some tests.

Without that it would be very hard to diagnose. You can try resetting the computer by unhooking the negative battery cable for a few minutes and then hooking it back up. If there are no dash lights at all then I would pull the battery and have an auto parts store load test it.
