Getting message "engine hot ac off" thermostat gauge not

Customer Question

Getting message "engine hot ac off" thermostat gauge not working. Is this a sensor problem or thermostat problem or both.

If the truck is actually overheating and the fans work and the coolant is full id say it's a bad thermostat if it not really overheating and then all of a sudden you get that coming up on the dash I'd suspect a bad coolant temp sensor. Please give positive rating and reply back any other questions. Thanks
