hi there,

Im cam, a licenced diganostic tech.

IS the sound when the vehicle is stationary?

I have replaced quite a few broken front springs on these g6's.

IT sounds like either the there is a broken spring or the strut mount might be binding up.

have a look in he wheel well and see if there is a broken spring , if the spring is ok it will take two people to pinpoint the noise.

have someone move the steering from one side to the other. if the mount is faulty, than you will see the spring bind and than let go, causing a "pop" noise.

let me know what you find!
