Customer Question

I am installing a window regulator and motor in 2000 pontiac firebird. I have the new regulator and motor in the door, but I cannot get the mounting holes for the motor to line up. Do you have any suggestions on how go to get them to line up. Also, can

???

Did you mount the Motor to the Regulator prior to installing into Door?
IF so:
Be sure this is the "correct Regulator & Motor for the "side" you are installing into.
IF this is "Aftermarket" (not GM), many times holes will be off & redrilling is needed.
.
IF you did not mount the Motor to the Regulator, remove the Regulator & do so........then install into door

Also, many Auto Parts Stores RENT the Rivet Tool
IF you want you can use real short bolts & nuts also, but is a little harder to do
