I have a 2003 Grand Am, changed the alternator, did not

Customer Question

I have a 2003 Grand Am, changed the alternator, did not drive car until next morning. When I went to drive the car the air bag light and the battery light came on. Car would not shift gears until completely warmed up. A week later it was still happening
then the headlights blew. Changed the headlights and the headlight switch. A week later the headlights blew again. Until the car warms up the electric locks go crazy. Did not do any of this until the alternator was changed. Could that be the problem?
