My 2002 Grand Prix GTP will start up but then dies after

Customer Question

My 2002 Grand Prix GTP will start up but then dies after about 10 seconds. The fuel smells real rich also. The fuel filter was replaced. I've been told it could be a security issue ??? I'm not sure what to do. I don't have a lot of money to have it towed to a dealership and diagnosed. Would like to eliminate some stuff first.
