do you have a multi meter on hand to do a few quick tests ?

no i do not..been told could be fusible link..dont know where it is located. where mighrt it be located

if it is a fusible link to the alternator it is located connected to the starter solenoid where the big power battery cable connects to the big power stud right at the starter solenoid
