Hi Dave, I have a 2004 Pontiac Sunfire that when I turn the car and take the key out it's still running. I have turn and manuver the steering wheel to make it stop. Is this dangerous?

it could be dangerous as if the ignition switch will not shut the car off there is a chance it could also stop powering one of its power legs out of it causing a stall and possibly stalling and not starting back up

most of the time the issue causing this is the ignition switch itself being bad and not turning off the power when the ignition key is turned off

i am confused about this screw you are talking about
