Hello and welcome!
My name isCustomerand I can assist you with your question.
This most common failure causing this condition is a bad fuel pump, bad crankshaft position sensor or bad fuel injectors.

Not the fuel pump. Would all the injectors die at once? Does a crank position sensor start working after cooling down?

Expert:  Amedee replied 1 year ago.
If the injectors are wired together then yes it is possible. I can pull a wiring diagram to double check.
Yes the crank sensor can stop working once it gets warm.

Adrian,
YES, the injectors can in fact cause this condition if they short out.. which is very common.
You can ohm them out to be sure. I would do this when this stalling condition occurs. Disconnect the three front injectors and ohm each injector (11.8-12.6 at 68 degrees F). If any injector is below 11.8 ohms, replace it.
