2000 pontiac SSEi blower has been failing as of late. in order to get it going, i removed the door for the cabin air filter where it is visable. if i reach in & spin it ever so slightly, it wil perform flawlessly until i turn off car then upon restart it will not turn on. is this definitely the blower motor failing for sure or another component?

Welcome to JustAnswer, my name is XXXXX XXXXX X'm here to help get your problem resolved. This is definitly the blower motor, when it stops on a dead spot it will not work until you have blower motor to a spot that is not dead, so there is no doubt blower motor has failed. Let me know if you have questions or if there is anything else I can do to help, thanks.
