i have a 2000 pontiac grand am gt. battery seems good and engine is trying to turn over but will not. there is a blinking light on the dash that says security blinking continously do you know what is wrong?

Your key has losty communication with your car. you will need to try a reset. and it is long.
turn the key to on but not start. do this for 10 minutes
then off for 5 secs.
do this two more times.
and on the 3rd of for 5 seconds try to start it after waiting for the 3rd 5 secs.
why does this happen?
If you can read me send a bunch of messages and scramble the letters justr hit reply 4 or 5 times. your resonses are blank
