Pontiac Vibe: How do you replace the actual headlight not just

How do you replace the actual headlight not just the bulb for a 2010 pontiac vibe. Havin troubles getting to third bolt on the bottom of the housing. I am needing to replace the passenger side headlight.

  1. Apply protective tape (1) around the front fascia assembly.

  1. Remove the retaining clip (1).
  2. Using a flat-bladed tool, turn the pin (2) 90 degrees and remove the pin hold clip.

  2. Remove the lower front fascia screws (1).

  1. Disengage the two claws and guide, and disconnect the front bumper fascia assembly.
  2. Disconnect the fog lamp connectors, if equipped.
  3. Remove the front bumper fascia assembly from the vehicle.
  4. Remove the fog lamps, if equipped. Refer to Front Fog Lamp Replacement (Without GT) (See: Lighting and Horns\Fog/Driving Lamp\Service and Repair\Removal and Replacement)Front Fog Lamp Replacement (With GT) (See: Lighting and Horns\Fog/Driving Lamp\Service and Repair\Removal and Replacement).

  1. Remove the two screws and the license mounting plate bracket.
  2. Remove the grilles from the fascia.   3. Remove the front fascia emblem. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Emblem/Nameplate Replacement (See: Exterior Moulding / Trim\Body Emblem\Service and Repair\Front Bumper Fascia Emblem/Nameplate Replacement).
  4. Remove the fender liner retainers from the front fascia.

  1. Install the fender liner retainers to the front fascia.

  3. Install the grilles to the fascia.   1. Position the headlamp assembly to the vehicle.
  2. Connect the electrical connectors.
  3. Engage the clamp.
  4. Install the screw 2 and tighten to 5.4 Nm(48 lb in) .
  5. Install the bolts (1) and tighten to 5.4 Nm(48 lb in) .
  6. Install the front fascia. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement (Without GT) (See: Body and Frame\Bumper\Front Bumper Cover / Fascia\Service and Repair\Front Bumper Fascia Replacement)Front Bumper Fascia Replacement (With GT) (See: Body and Frame\Bumper\Front Bumper Cover / Fascia\Service and Repair\Front Bumper Fascia Replacement).
  7. Aim the headlamps. Refer to Headlamp Aiming (See: Procedures).
