Thanks for using JA

It sounds like the starter isn't engaging. the starter could be faulty.

Customer: replied 5 years ago.
There's no voltage going to starter relay or solenoid
Expert:  hauto replied 5 years ago.

Thanks for the reply.

the ignition switch is were I would start, that supplies the relay with the voltage.then the relay energizes the starter.

Customer: replied 5 years ago.
checked ignition switch for voltage has 12v on 3 wires ,when you turn key voltage goes to other wires not sure where to but won't start. How can I tell if switch is bad?
Expert:  hauto replied 5 years ago.
you can't the switch gets shorted internally, and if the relay isn't getting voltage that is your sign.
Customer: replied 5 years ago.
Ok,I was just wondering what was clicking in the console by the ecm
Expert:  hauto replied 5 years ago.
I am not sure. what that is.

Cam ,Just wanted you to know the dealer fixed the car,I was the computer.Unfortunitly it wasn't covered but it is fixed .He said it was unusual for them to go bad.My son had been hooking up an amp and left the battery ground loose .Maybe that did something. Thanks for your help.Frank

Indeed a computer is odd, and if it was tthePOWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE it should have been but a Body Control Module would not be. Thanks for getting back to me.
