have you tried the reset yet

Its actually the key relearn procedure.

Customer:

I have gone thru the manual and done what it said i have taken the battery cables off and touched them together

Customer:

i have done the key on until the security light goes off three or more time and this has not done anygood

jettadan1 :

ok there is a procedure. turn key to on for 10 minutes then off for 5 seconds. do this two more times. and on the 3rd off for 5 seconds turn the key to start and start car

i have done that prcoedure also

make sure its off for a full five seconds if the light is going off the correct procedure should work.

would a weak battery give this problem

Auto zone has a antitheft by pass module call bull dog . it comes with instructions to go to thier web site and it willhave your cars installation instructions.

Yes it would a weak battery will do it every time.

but you should be able to jump it

we have two keys for it and it does not matter which key they both seem to do the same.

if battery is low they wont. if the battery isnt the problem you have the bypass module at auto zone.
