Here is the procedure for the battery removal.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the right front diagonal brace.
3. Move the under hood electrical out of the way.
4. Reposition the positive battery cable terminal cover.
5. Loosen the positive battery terminal nut.
6. Remove the positive battery terminal from the battery.
7. Remove the battery retainer bolts and retainer.
8. Remove the battery.
