Turn OFF the ignition, and wait 5 s.econds.

Repeat steps 1 through 4 two more times for a total of 3 cycles/30 minutes. You must turn the ignition OFF before at tempting to start the vehicle.

I'm trying to go thru the steps stated above. We've done steps 1-4 three times and am waiting the last 10 mins. However, I'm wondering that after the first attempt, the security messages are not flashing at all. The car isn't acting like it's even trying to start the engine and the last time there was nothing that happened (no lights on the dash, no messages, etc).

Is this what we should be experiencing?

Ok, is there power to anything?

Customer: replied 6 years ago.
The only thing that made any noise or flashed at all was the CD player sounded like it was flipping disks (it's a 6-disc cd changer). None of the engine/dash lights/dome lights or anything else come on.

I would start by taking your battery to be tested. This may be a dead battery.

OK.. thank you. I just completed the 30 min cycle. At this point, nothing is happening at all when I turn the car to on or attempt to start it.
