Is the check engine light on? Does the traction control (ets) light stay on?

Customer: replied 6 years ago.
Check engine light has been on from a different problem. The traction control light never came on.

What was the code that was stored for the check engine light? Sometimes the problem will seem unrelated, but the computer will change the shifing characteristics due to driveability problems in the engine.
Customer: replied 6 years ago.
Originally it was an evap system code. Everything in the evap system was replaced down to the gas cap. It still threw the code and the engine light stays on. When the evap system is isolated and tested it passes NY state emmission test.

Have codes rechecked to see if there are any other codes present. An unplugged air temp sensor on the air intake tube can cause the computer to raise trans pressure and give harsh shifts. Let me know what you find.
