99 Pontiac Grand Am: has been leaking oil

my 99 Pontiac Grand Am has been leaking oil. I just found the problem out. On my way to work this morning, it began driving funny. The oil light came on then it seems as if I lost power. It oasted o over to the Ford DEalership. I had the techs to look at it but I havent heard back from them. I was smelling oil burning when I got out of the car.

If there is a big or fast oil leak it is most likely a oil pressure sending unit, this is a common problem and is pretty cheap to repair.
