well the cost of this repair can vary, depending on what has failed. It could something inexpensive as a Torque converter clutch solenoid,or it can get expensive if there has been something internal in the transmission that has failed like a valve body.It could also be a wiring issue from your engine computer to the transmission or inside the transmission or a computer failure. If your car has been diagnosed properly then you should have recieved an estimate for the cost of the repair and what the component or components are that have failed,if your vehicle has only been scanned for codes and nothing has been done to fully diagnose the car then that process would have to be finished first to see what exactly has failed. This repair can range from a hours of labor to a full transmission removal and repair whch can get expensive, not knowing for sure what your fault is i would hate to guess at the cost for your repair but expect anywhere from $500 to up to $2000 for your repair(this is just a guess at the repair since we dont know exactly what has failed)I hope this helped.
