The metal rod inside the toilet came loose from the plastic

Customer Question

the metal rod inside the toilet came loose from the plastic handle on the side of the
tank so it doesn't flush. I guess I need a new plastic handle and the metal rod that inserts into it.

It's all one part. It's called a flush lever. Most are pretty similar and a universal replacement should work. You can get one at Lowes or Home Depot.
