Is the drain completely clogged? How did the wax get into the drain?
OK, there's a good chance the wax is all in the trap. There's nothing you can put down the drain to get it out but if you can get the trap apart you can remove the J bend (U or J shaped bottom part of the trap) then heat it up until the wax melts so you can pour it out.
