Customer Question

I just replaced the valve stem assembly on my single knob shower, and now the water won't turn off? Any suggestions?

Hi my name is ***** ***** I have been in the plumbing field for 20 years. I will be glad to help you today. Do you know the brand or model? Does it drip or is it staying fully on?

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
It's a price pfister. Stays fully on

When you removed the old one, did the rubber gasket come out too? Do you have the old stem still? Do you see on the back of the old stem where there is a groove for the gasket to go into? Is the old gasket still in there or could it still be inside the valve body?

If you like we could discuss over the phone too.
