In our house we have well water, which we really like.

Customer Question

In our house we have well water, which we really like. However, it has minerals and produces scale on things. Today, they said a fancy shower control has to be taken apart and cleaned in order to run properly. Can the minerals be filtered out without any hassle and without introducing anything into the system and how's that done? Many years ago in another house we had to treat our water with bags of salt and back-flushing. A real pain. Don't want that.
