Mate i have a querie. Can i convert a brand new B26 natrual

Customer Question

Hi there mate i have a querie .
Can i convert a brand new B26 natrual gas hot water unit to a LPG unit or Propane. I have just recently moved to Queensland and brought my new B26 natral gas unit and where I am living everyone has bottled gas units for there hot water and cook tops and heating . With some technical experience being a diesel engine mechanic would I be correct if I was to say that it would involve changing the input valve or diaphragm.
Could you please give me some technical support in regards ***** ***** dillema.

Hello, my name is ***** ***** I look forward to helping you. Are we working with a Rinnai?

Customer: replied 5 months ago.
a Rinnai B26. Its an Australian model equivalent to a infinity 26

Rinnai DOES offer a field conversion kit. You should contact them directly to ensure you get the right one. Have your serial number ready. It'll consist of a new gas manifold and a new gas valve along with instructions for changing the dip switch settings on the control board. You'll also need a manometer to set gas pressures.

If this answers your question completely please leave me a positive rating and its are greatly appreciated.
