Ok, this is usually caused by clogged air intake vents. When the vent is clogged the main burner causes turbulence when it shuts down putting out the pilot. This unit draws air in around the base which should have a filter/screen to keep dust/lint/debris from getting into the burner chamber but many plumbers didn't install them. So you can try vacuuming under/around the base. If that doesn't work then the burner has to be pulled and the opening under the burner needs to be vacuumed out. There are special vacuum adapter attachments avalable at a plumbing supply house for this purpose.
