What is the best/most cost effective way to install a dehumidifier with a pump to the outside? We have a damp basement.(No standing water) and we don't want to carry the water upstairs and drain each day. What are some options?

Your least expensive option would be to use a condensate pump that's made for a condensing furnace or AC coil. You just insert the drain hose from the de-humidifier into the pump then run vinyl tubing to the outside, Here is one option available at Home Depot
