Can I run a drain line 12 feet (1.5" line) dropping three inches

Customer Question

Can I run a drain line 12 feet (1.5" line) dropping three inches down, to meet with the existing vent and p trap?

The pitch is right but the trap goes at the fixture. You don't have/want a long run into a trap. Also 12' to a vent is too far on an 1 1/2" line
