If you have a Kohler spout then it's most likely a Kohler valve but I need the model of the valve to give you any specifics. If it was rebuilt (by a plumber) and it still drips then there probably is a defect in the valve body and the entire valve will need to be replaced.

it was new from i believe Lowes
and not rebuilt

But I will check it when i get home from work

thank you

If the valve in the wall is new (not just the spout) then you probably have a defective valve and it may be a warranty issue
