Plumbing Questions? Ask a Plumber for Answers ASAP
Welcome, my name is XXXXX XXXXX I will do my best to help with your issue
I would call Fergusons with the info. An email can get lost easily if you're not a regular customer
The other option would be to order the part direct from Kohler
Understand - do you know if Ferguson's has repair team on staff?
Was unable to find specific part of Kohler site -- tub is more than 10 years old.
Fergusons is a supply house. They don't offer repairs. Call Kohler 1-800-4KOHLER. If the part is available they will know
Challenges is that problem kind of bridges steeping tub/whirlpool plumbing situation and what may better be served by an electrician. Does that seem like appropriate route if Kohler's 800# XXXXX locate part?
An electrician can handle this repair if all you need is the control replaced.
What I needed to know. Will work to track part via Ferguson's or Kholer direct. If they don't have factory part, hopefully they'll identify a compatible alternative. Any suggestions on things I should be cautious/leery of when approaching repair of such a dated piece of equipment?
Only who does the repair. An electrician is probably better suited than most plumbers since this is an electrical issue. He could also track down other control/electrical issues that might pop up
Makes sense. Thanks much for your time and guidance, I really appreciate your input. Hope you have a good day.
