Customer Question

I'm planning to install a Kitchen Sink in my finished basement and i took a peak in the wall where I'm planning to install it, and it looks like the drain and a water line is already there capped off? I attached pictures of it. It looks like the previous owners had planned to do the same thing at a later time so they have the rough in installed? If so all I'd have to do is just connect the sink drain to that one pipe thats capped off?

Customer :

that copper pipe i'm assume is a water line which is right next to the drain, the pvc under the copper pipe is part of the same drain from the first picture

Jerry's Advanced Plu :

there is and air admittance valve for the waste so you are good just need to stub a piece of pipe out the wall and the water lines you will need to stub out and figure witch is hot or cold put stop valves on and hook up.

Customer :

so its not really a cap i'm seeing its the air admittance valve. perfect.
