Why does our home bathroom smell like poop after 13 years, we built the home new. We have a well and septic, but is all upscale equipment etc?
Already Tried: keep it cleaned
Welcome, I will do my best to help with your problem
If this is a bathroom that is used regularly including all the fixtures in the bathroom then the most likely cause would be a broken plumbing vent line probably buried in a wall
I was thinking like a floor seal or something, seems where the smell is poss coming from or some kind of builup under toilet itself?
If the toilet seal was the cause you would likely have a leak at the base of the toilet. It's not impossible but it is unlikely. One way to handle this would be to have a plumber come and reset your toilet then he could also explore the venting possibiltiy while he was there. Only a plumber is qualified to find and deal with a venting issue. It's not a DIY project
