Hello

Customer :

hi

Jerry's Advanced Plu :

Does your pump shut off?

Customer :

Electricially I think i can shut it off. We tried that a few minutes ago. no change in flow

Customer :

Its not necessarily the well pump. I just have very low flow. Much lower than yesterday

Jerry's Advanced Plu :

do you know where the pressure switch is it is a small gray box with wires going in it usaully by the big blue Expansion Tank

Customer :

i think so but will have to go downstairs to check it

what do i do when i find it?

Jerry's Advanced Plu :

first thing is pump in the water or outside of well?

Customer :

I am not sure. How would I know?

Jerry's Advanced Plu :

what does your well look like big concrete curb or small pipe sticking up out of ground?

Customer :

the latter

Jerry's Advanced Plu :

ok pump is in the well find the pressure switch remove the gray lid by loosening the screw on top and see if brass contacts are touching each other,if so see if there is a valve on the water line you can close then see if pump biulds pressure untill brass contacts open up you will here them click

Customer :

should I go try that now?

Jerry's Advanced Plu :

yes do not touch contacts they have live voltage going to them i will stand by

Customer :

ok

Customer :

Thanks for waiting. I found the big blue tank and the little grey box next to it. Its humming. Below it is a pressure gauge with a very low readng. Problem is that I can't find a screw to remove the grey cover off of the thing. I could text or e-mail you photo if that's possible.
