This sounds like a possible venting issue. Given the possible difficulty with pinning it down and the potential cost to fix it
it's probably best to wait and see if it gets worse
I am leaving town for a few days and my disabled son will be staying here alone. I am afraid it will get worse while I am gone. It is in my bathroom, not his. Will that make a difference?
Probably not and the potential problems aren't likely to com on suddenly. If you want to take preventative measures you could have your main sewer line snaked out as a precaution
Okay, I would rather be safe than sorry. Do I need a plumber to snake out the main drain?
A cheaper option would be a drain cleaning service
Great, thanks so much.
