dissolving metamucil in sink

Resolved Question:

dissolving metamucil in sink

Is he unable to get through the drain, or is he getting all the way though and the line will not open?

Customer: replied 6 years ago.
He can get through - the metamucil is a slimy gel that he is trying to remove with a snake. I threw almost a whole container down the sinkl(will take my beatings !). He thinks it is around 2 or more feet of the slimy stuff. It has not hardened.

Have your plumber tape a rage on his cable, make sure he tapes the rage on good. This has work for me in the past on difficult lines. I know nothing that will dissolve this.
