The water pressure in my kitchen faucet is low...almost a dribble

Customer Question

The water pressure in my kitchen faucet is low...almost a dribble on cold...better on hot, but still not great. I have checked the turn off valves under the sink-seems OK. Could it be the faucet itself? It is a single handle lever type.

Can you suggest other things I should check to resolve this problem?

Check the strainer at the facet outlet might be full of debris. it unscrews from the facet might need pliers. If not dirty change the inside cartridge of the facet. And at worst case change the whole facet.
