I had a bag job in 1998, the surgeon was the plasticc Surgeon to the stars so i went to him. He took off too much skin or muscle and it created schleral show... He tried to fix it again and it didn't work so I went to Glenn Jelks and he tried to fix it. It was a little better and I had a fourth operation and it was better bout I look a little surgically altered and d to pulled. It addition I still had schleral show on one of the eyes. The dr. told me to not let anyone pulled down my eyes to check like an opthamologist as it would rip the tether. Well three years because my eye could close all of the way I went to an opthomologist and I told him not to pull down the lower eye life but he said I was stupid to listen to them and he pulled them down three times. I felt them pull down and i told him that. He was flustered and he said he didn't do anything wrong. Well, they are droopy agin and I need the BEST Occuloplastic surgeon who can fix my problem with a canthopexy and endurogan or a spacer. Who can you recommend that is exceptional in the Northeast/ Thanks Joe

Thank you for your question. I am sorry about your problems. You need to see an expert in oculoplastic surgery. The only oculoplastic surgeon that I would suggest is Allen Putterman of Chicago. He has as extensive a background in your problem as any physician in the world.
How good is he? in solving a 4 surgery mistake by two doctors? I mean is he the best of the best.... I need incredible? thanks I have already had 4 surgeries and I need a doctor that is so good in fixing botched mistakes he needs to be great in fixing aesthetically using spacers and enduragen etc. I thank youJoe
He has had extensive success with patients who have had similar problems to yours. You should call his office tomorrow and talk to his office manager and ask her all the questions that you have.
Allen Putterman uses grafting from the roof of your mouth and I saw his work and I am not that impressed.. canthopexy plus spacers and or enduragen may work better..... any other great doctor in the NYC , BOSTON, CT area I live in CT, if I am going to Chicago, I might as well go to Beverly Hills any great surgeon there? In Boston - Dr Hatton or Dr. Iwamoto. But neither one if them has the experience of Dr. Putterman..

Dr Allen Putterman is 74 years old.... he has old techniques... a little concerned of his age.... WHo is the best truthfully of the other 4 you gave me.. Or who would you send you loved one too, a child, wife of family member too.... Im done... thanks Joe
The two names I gave you in NYC are both excellent. You should talk to more than one physician before you have any more surgery.
And Dr. Putterman still teaches. He dies not teach old techniques.

Have you ever heard of Mark lobanoff, George schirrpa, James Gordon? out of all would you still go to Allen Putterman... or any of the ones i gave you or the two.... above... Im getting there...Thanks they are all in nyc
