I have a PANASONIC KX-TD7896 CORDLESS PHONE WHERE THE BASE

Customer Question

I have a PANASONIC KX-TD7896 CORDLESS PHONE WHERE THE BASE STATION AND THE CORDLESS ARE NOT AN EXACT MATCH WITH EACH OTHER. IS THERE ANY WAY TO "REPROGRAM" THEM SO THAT THEY CAN "SEE" EACH OTHER AGAIN?
JA: How old is the phone?
Customer: A FEW YEARS OLD
JA: How long has this been going on? What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: NO TROUBLE SHOOTING YET. BECAUSE THEY'RE NOT AN EXACT MATCH FROM THE FACTORY IS THERE A WAY TO SWAP OUT THE CHIPS IN THEM SO THE'YRE AN ACTUAL MATCHING PAIR?
JA: Anything else you want the phone expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: NO. JUST CAN THEY BE REPROGRAMMED BY A TECHNICIAN?
