Hi, I'm Nathan.
Sorry to hear that you're having trouble, but I'll do my best to help you. Please give me a few moments to review your details here.

Expert:  Nathan replied 5 days ago.

Can you tell me a bit more about the problem please:

1) If you have multiple handsets (within the same system), does this happen with all of them?
2) Are there other phones or even a fax, outside of this system but on the same line? If so are they working properly?
3) Is this a landline from the local phone/cable company, or a VOIP service (vonage/magicjack/etc)?
4) Do you have dsl service on the same line?

Customer: replied 5 days ago.
1. No 2. No 3.landline 4. no

So you have only a single handset,

do you see an "eco" mode indicator on the panasonic display screen?

Customer: replied 5 days ago.
I have an "eco" mode indicator.
Customer: replied 5 days ago.
If dsl means computer, then yes I do have it.
Customer: replied 5 days ago.
As you can tell, I'm horribly electronically challenged. Sorry.
Expert:  Nathan replied 5 days ago.

My apologies for the delay. The site is not quite instant, but please try to send only a single response and allow me time to receive it and respond back; multiple messages can get lost in the queue and further delayed.

Thank you for the information though.

The eco mode may be contributing to this, but it is an automatic setting and not one you can change.

Is it at all possible for you to test another phone on this line, just a regular corded or wall phone, if you have an old one you can dig out or borrow from a friend/neighbor for a few minutes, and see if you get an echo on it too?
