I just purchased a KX-TGF344 phone system. l cannot get the answering system to work although l am replacing a panasonic sytem that had worked.
JA: How old is the phone?
Customer: l just received the phone from Amazon yesterday.
JA: How long has this been going on? What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: l am just now setting it up. l changed the number of rings from 4 to 3
JA: Anything else you want the electronics expert to know before I connect you?

Sorry I didn't see your question earlier and to hear of any issue you are having with your phones.

To help you with this issue, may I ask:

1) What happens when you TRY to set up the answering system, and a call comes in?

2) Do you have access to an outside phone - such as a cell phone - so you can place TEST CALLS to the number where the Panasonic system is connected?

3) What phone service provider (phone company) you have for this phone line?
