Customer Question

I'm calling about my phone. When someone calls me it goes to Voice Mail msg via phone co. I do have a recorded message on my phone. But it goes to Voice mail. How can I get rid of this?
JA: Just to clarify, what's the exact make and model of your machine?
Customer: KX-TGE260
JA: How long has this been going on? What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: It's been going on for at least a month- maybe more. The manual says to remove the notification by pressing & holding # until the unit beeps.
JA: Anything else you want the electronics expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: I just wan t my message (greeting) to answer when I'm not home. Not to say leave a message on Voice Mail.

Hello & Welcome to Just Answer,

I'm Greg and will do my best to assist you today.

Sorry to hear of any issue you are having with your phones.

To help you with this issue, may I ask:

1) What phone service provider (phone company) you have for this phone line?

2) How many rings occur BEFORE the voicemail system picks up the call?

Thanks
