We have a KX-TGA740 cordless (3) one of which is not working properly. The phone rings, and when we answer, we cannot hear the caller. Replaced with fresh batteries. Other two work well.
JA: How old is the phone?
Customer: 8-10 years
JA: How long has this been going on? What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: replaced the batteries, that's all

1) The FULL Model Number of the phone system you are working with? If this is a cordless system, that model should be printed on a sticker on the bottom or back of the MAIN base and START with KX-TG, and then be followed by a 4-digit number.
