Sorry to hear of any issue you are having with your phones.
To help you with this issue, may I ask:
1) Is this the speaker of the MAIN base unit OR the speaker function of the HANDSET(S)?
2) Is this during a conversation, or when trying to listen to stored messages?
Please REPLY using the box below and the SEND button.
OK - you should be able to INCREASE the volume of the speaker (or earpiece receiver) during a conversation by pressing the UP button (TOP of the center button on the handset).
Can you try that now and see if it increases the volume of the speaker?
NOTE: there should ALSO be a "VOL" + or - (plus or minus) button on the SIDE of each handset. You should be able to press the + (TOP) of that button to increase the volume of the speaker OR earpiece.
Please try that button too, and let me know if the volume DOES increase (or not).
Was that tried DURING a conversation, or after pressing the SPEAKER button, and then hearing the dial tone?
If so, did you see ANYTHING appear on the display, such as a "volume indicator"?
Interesting. Does this happen on ALL handsets (assuming you tried more than one)?
Also, what about the VOL control button on the SIDE of the handset? Did that have ANY effect?
NOTE: I have attached an image that highlights the volume controls of the handsets.
OK - does that mean that you are NOT near these handsets at this time?
Yes, it should be relatively simple to TEST if the volume controls work.
